I was born in Surrey in 1961. I worked for the Ministry of Defence on the British National Space Programme in the 1980s. I lectured in Video Production. Project Manager for one of the UKs leading digital media agencies and spent a short spell working in the Seychelles for their television service. However, photography and the new creative opportunities afforded by digital manipulation, were my main passions and so I studied to gain an honours degree in Media Production at Bournemouth University at the age of 30 where I was the only student to major in combining video and animated 3D computer graphics. Robert Babylon is probably best known for his unique and dramatic erotic UV (blacklight) images which evolved from a misspent youth in underground dance clubs.
